It's only took since the start of AMD3 for me to realise the powers of a magnetic level in making labelling easier!!

Can't post photo though! File too big. Have screenshotted it to make it smaller but no joy. Basically the level holds the lid open!

Staff /Dan /Lou - what's the maximum image size now ? Has it changed. If it has then that's a shame as detailed photos can often help with electrical shenanigans....

if you're on about holding a top hinge lid up, a bit of gaffer tape works just as well.

Yeah that would work Tel! But that never even crossed my mind as an option. Clever me!!! I have always just propped it up with my head in the past!

Not sure if a board lid would be susceptible* to ------...!

I have some of those neodymium magnets. Strong little buglers they are. I think I will reappropriate some of them from the kids...!

*I'm sure there is a better word but it's been a long long day...

A strip of LEDs under the lid would finish the job off nicely.
I did some work on one of those boards recently. Can't remember the brand but it was a sheet board. Seem to recall the breakers having a blue logo I think. Cover was held on with four screws because it was so flimsy, and I had to drill one of those four screws out as the spark who put it in must have been Popeye!!

Edit: it was CPN Cudis.
