it all started when my lady decided that we were goin into town to finish of the crimbo shopping after trudging through town and getting home i wasnt in the best of moods as you can imagine

then as we were having a few mates round for tea and my lady cooking tea (electric oven) and having a shower (electric shower) the main dno fuse went (60 amp fuse on a old flu cutout) so as you can imagine missis wasnt to happy as she was in the shower at the time after dying her hair

so struggling find the number to western power to come out they turn up later 3 blokes took 3 hours to locate a fuse for it otherwise it would be a cutout change meaning digging up the road they finally find 1 cutouts been put in for replacement in the week

but of course according to the missis its all my bloody fault

it is aye... id say is only you who messes around with the installation, so yes its your fault.... you shoulkd cook for your wife for the next week to make up what you did

I have a job like this once. Changing a consumer unit and next door knocked and said is your electric off? the house owner said yes as I am having my consumer unit changed.. anyway they were animate it was my fault..

Anyway to cut a long story short. Its was. After removing the main fuse the install was still live.. Turns out the fuse was feeding next doors property.. After a swift change of the fuse hey presto the electric goes back on.. It was the first time id encountered this many years ago..

nice avatar kamikaze. i have a real urge to watch bad santa now. billy bob, thurman merman, bernie mac and that little black midget with his nut job asian bird. best christmas film ever. that scene where santa arrives at his grotto totally pie-eyed and sets about the reindeer is hilarious. judging by the looks on their faces, i'm not sure the kids were aware it was acting. then the argument between bernie and the midget:

"take him to the car."

"in case you hadn't noticed, i'm a motherf***ing dwarf. so unless you've got a forklift handy, maybe you should lend a hand."

"that figures. you want all kinds of set asides. special treatment 'cause you're handicapped. you're all the same."

"special treatment? i'm 3 foot f***ing tall you a**hole. it's a matter of physics. draw me a sketch of how i get him to the car."

"bitch, bitch, bitch."

"sketch it up, you f***ing moron. f***ing leonardo davinci."

"what did you call me, thigh high?"

"i called you a f***ing guinea homo from the 15th century, you d***head."

yep. i've seen it a few times.
