NAPIT Certification Scheme Napit Mobile 0 - Pen & Paper - 1

Did half an EICR this morning, finishing it off tomorrow night.
I tried Napit Mobile for the first time. What an annoying counterintuitive process it is. Can't skip between different parts of the form. Filled in the origins section no problem, pressed submit, but then what? I don't know! Does Napit know? Really really unclear....
After 30 mins of faffing it was back to the good ole pen and paper. There will be a second leg but I fear the old ways will win!

I had the same problem and moved to Desktop - you sum up exactly the same frustration I had. Mobile app not ready yet...

In all honesty, pen and paper every time on the job - paperwork later

I sometimes wonder why we all bother with tech, I use electraform which 99% of the time is glitch free but sometimes that can be a pain if you don't have an internet connection, suppose the worse that happen with pen and paper is your pen runs out!?

I hear what you are saying. I have always used photocopies of the various forms and then typed up later. But I find it is all too easy to get a little bit of a backlog of certs that need filling out. I'm gonna try it again for the MWC I think, surely that will be straight forward!! The desktop version is pretty good though I think.

EICRs are getting far too complicated these days. last one i did used up 12 beermats and 4 smoke packets.

Its a doddle. I've binned of easycert which i've used for almost 10 years, to use electra form, so much easier
