here a while ago there were a few interested in the nec2014 or 2011 code book
and ive spent a bit of time finding the info


In case your interested here is a link to the archives and the 2014 nec code (US.)
you will need to create an account and log in.
the nec code pdf is 132 meg. 924 pages long so it will take a while to load.
once loaded you can save a copy to your hard drive.

Interesting, they seem to have missed out the section on testing!!
Lots of specifics though, unlike the UK where it is pretty much all general application.

yeah I know
all testing is taught in the schools and varies according to the instructor (not a very good standard to follow)
but it should be put in the nec as well
this way there would be a standard set in stone so to speak

i should join the nec code site and recommend they put in a section for test procedures!
then its a matter of getting the inspectors to follow the changes
