I've been asked to fit a new double socket in a hallway. There are no other sockets nearby to take a feed from, but the CU is only a few feet away. My question is could i feed the new socket from a spur directly from the 32A ring breaker in the CU, or am i best putting it on a new circuit ?? If it has to go on a new circuit, because it will only ever be 1 double socket can i have it as a radial on a 16A mcb??Thanks
