mr jangles

i done a 4 year apprenticeship about 13 years ago,due to poor timekeeping,i was paid off before i could sit my trade test.i kept working in the trade but through agencies for about 2 years as i didnt have to produce a jib card, since then,i have been in permanent employment with an electrical company carrying out all aspects of work, and have passed the compex parts 2,3,4,and the recent 17th edition test and inspect.what can i do to secure the electrician status now rather than blagging it?

A hate to say it but You still need to finish your aprenticeship and in your case start it again. A sparkys mate that worked for my company was in a similar situation. The course is 2 years long. The first year is purely site work where as the second year there is a project involved. Throughout the 2 years you will need to also do a logbook.
