Need help asap!

Doing some work at home I have a new light fitting to fit there 3 terminals in th new one, neutruel, earth and live.
The old pendant and wires has 1 neutruel, 2 earth, 2 lives and 1 neutruel switch live.
When I put the switch live with the lives the light has constant power and wont switch off at the switch? I tried putting it in neutruel but it just trips the power. Any help? I need it asap!

Ok the OP is at the grand age of 16 and is keen as mustard. Spoken with him on the phone and he has sorted this out himself and also done it safely.
