Hi All,

Just found out today that i passed my AM2 first time.

I have started this thread so people can ask me questions if there worrying, thats what i would have wanted before i took my test.

Before i passed i took the pre AM2 freshers course and would advice for you to do the same.

so any question do not hesitate to ask

regards

well done. I am a bit apprehensive about the health and safety test, and the s-plan heating, as I have never done heating. I have to do mine this summer and don't like the unknown. To be honest I would have rather sat the old one by the looks of it, conduit and pyro no problem.

whats involved with the AM2 now then ~?
I think the OP is going to help us out with that one Morph!

It's not a bad question though!!

Perhaps we should have to do an AM2 every 5 years to keep our hands in..... The industry says it's trying to make it harder for the fast trackers, least they'd have to prove something!

It's a GREAT question and I look forward to the responses from forum members. You can look up the AM2 on the interweb, but it will be fantastic to hear some first hand experiences. Come on YOUNGSPARKY!!!

I'll do a really detailed reply tomorrow as I am on my phone! But the idea of doing an AM2 every 5 years is a bad idea it is so stressful and exhausting. Its something that you don't need to do all the time, it's like a driver test once you pass u capable
