NEED HELP!! Level 3

Hi I need help with a couple of these questions if anyone could help that would be amazing thanks.

State the three of the requirements of GS38..?

State the minimum and or maximum readings for insulation resistance for a 230v installation.
line to earth
line to neutral
neutral to earth
an installation as a whole

Dont have my regs on me so dont actually quote me without checking BS 7671 first just in case.

There isnt a maximum figure for insulation resistance, as far as l know. Infact the higher the resistance the better. And l think that its 1Megaohm minimum for Low Voltage (230V), though anything less than 2Megaohms should be investigated.

0Megaohms indicates a short in the circuit. Strange figures like 0.2Megaohms can mean that something is in circuit (plugged in).

You can test the installation as a whole by testing L@N shorted together, to earth.

And remember that insualtion resistance decreases as the circuit increases in length...
