Hi everyone, Need some help please, where I work (Well known brewery head office) Since I joined them I have stopped staff doing what they are not qualified to do and basically trying to keep people safe.

There was loads of mistakes and things not working etc anyway they get around it by sending in staff when I am off to do jobs but again its not working right or I feel its a disaster waiting to happen here.

My question is this new (made) furniture has had x2 double gangs (lovely stainless fronts) fitted to each seating bench type thing and they have been wired up to plugs etc, would these need PAT testing my thoughts are yes and also the so called sparks (cheapest outside contractors available) that did it have used SY cable but the plugs are not fixed together correctly and loads of cable bare (well under insulation tape) but looking into the plug I see copper.

am I reading to much into this here? or am I onto something.

all these bodge jobs are doing my bloody head in now.

I thank you all for any advice offered etc.
