Hi guys, I've got an alarm panel at a job I'm doing, not sure what it is as don't really do much alarm work, I've attached pics though.

I have a pir that I need taken out of the system, just wondering if anyone can help me out with how best to do it?

I have pics of the panel, the manual and the pir, cheers.

That pir is connected to a zone in the panel, if you don't know which when then best way is to bell out the cable with multimeter.

Looks like a double pole system so you can then link out the zone in the panel and that pir is effectively removed but you will also need to link out the tamper for the pir but there is different ways to do this depending on whether it is a global or individual tamper.

USE THE OP. INSTRUCTIONS. WALK TEST THE pir TO SEE WHICH ZONE IT IS. REMOVE FROM ZONE. THEN IF GLOBAL TAMPER, id THE CORRECT GN/W TAMPER AND REMOVE. THEN ID THE 12V SUPPLY PAIR AND REMOVE. LINK OUT ZONE PAIR WITH A BIT OF SCRAP WIRE.

Yeah thought that would be the case, wasn't sure if I'd have to put a resistor of some sort in or just link it out! I'll work out which zone it is and link it out, will let you know how I get on and if I need any more help, cheers!

Cheers Tel, I'll follow those instructions and get back to you if any issues, appreciated!
