Need help with Sunny Boy 1800U

Inverter goes through start up sequence green light flashing 1 per sec "waiting"
But does not start to feed
I have 156V DC coming in and 122V AC on the grid side
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Check the AC plug as a first step, make sure the E and N aren't reversed.

Is this a US install?

Have you checked that the polarity is correct?

It is a US install

DC polarity is correct +156 DC coming in
123V AC from the grid at the L1 and N terminals in the inverter

Sounds like the inverter is waiting for the grid conditions to be within range. What is the maximum AC voltage that that inverter will operate with?

Sorry I can't be of more assistance. I suggest ringing SMA technical support as it may well be a faulty inverter.
