Need some advice with christmas lighting operating

Well guys,

Looking for some advice in doing my xmas light.

Just going running an LED rope around the house but was asking really about what to use.
I want them on a time clock and ill be using all IP rating equipment.
I have a feed from a socket in the house and just wondering what i can do and use to incorporate the time clock etc. Should i use an enclosure box?

Fair enough Pal, I think your OP covers the options, the lights are waterproof so just plug them in, you could buy a pug in timer which fits in a socket and then plug into that, something like this
