Basicly i work for a company full time i have just completed part p,17th edition and testing and inspection,so am ready to sign my work of etc but should i register with nieic or any other schemes myself or should i let my company register me, but am i right that if my company does it then i cant do private work? just would like some help with this please.

part p rules say work cant be signed off on behalf of another spark/competent person so you would have to be registered yourself to do this. You could ask your employers (nicely) if they would accept this but i wouldn`t hold your breath.........
