if a wattage limiter is contained within a light kit for a ceiling fan is it possible that it is part of the lampholder housing? it seems to be malfunctioning and the manufacturer told me they don't know the location because it cant be removed... the lampholder is the only part that could be housing it as the capacitor for fan motor reversal and the lampholders are all that is contained in the light kit.
