Has anyone got any advice/experiences/words of wisdom about removing an old 6mm main earth conductor (and braided earthing strap) from the neutral block of a TNCS mains head, and replacing it with 16mm?

I've never done this before, and am just a bit nervous about getting my screwdriver and pliers into the DNO's neutral block.

Or is it nothing to worry about?

(I was incredibly lucky that there were no seals at all on the mains head )

Thanks chaps
