[h=1]Osborne unveils five new Centres for Offshore Renewable Engineering[/h]
The plan confirms the government will work with local authorities and businesses to ensure firms investing in offshore wind "receive the most comprehensive support possible".
It announced that the five centres will be located in Humberside, Tyneside, Teeside, Lowestoft/Great Yarmouth, and Sheerness.


The news came on the same day as Prime Minister David Cameron spoke at an offshore wind conference in London, where he urged investment and pension funds to support the sector.
"I see offshore wind as a significant energy and industrial opportunity for the UK, and one that I am determined to seize," he said. "The Coalition Government strongly supports the growth of renewable energy to help diversify and decarbonise our long term energy mix."

So Investors and Pension funds pay German and Scandinavian companies to do these projects then i get charged £2.50 on my bill (according to that iplayer video) which goes to Investors and Pension pots in Fits, some whom partly caused the financial crisis meaning they win again and British citizens fork out for it yet again with no gain. Do these people ever lose?!
