if anyone could help with these question it would be appreciated... (cant find answers in the books)

when doing an insulation resistance test give one reason for each of the following:

A) circuits under test to be de-energised
B) operation or linking of two way and intermediate light switches
C) using a tester that can prvide 1mA at 500V
