Hi guys,
At work been given a new eic cert forms the old one we had before had 5 pages and vertical pages, these new ones have 3 and are horizontal, im just asking with the old ones you could write your sub board readings in the top left.
So where do i put these now as there is nothing there to put down only indications of where the consumer unit is remote from the original source is a bold box and that box is the same as all the other circuit details and test results.
sorry if this is simple but its a totally different layout to the old ones
thanks

It sounds like you have Domestic Electrical Installation Certificates now, whereas before you had what I call 'Full' Electrical Insatallation Certificates.

Check out the NIC website to view the examples of both.

use the 1st line and label it sub main etc
then leave a space and label board etc
next line down start your crts for the board

Yes, you can do that, in fact, you can do it a few ways as long as what you have recorded is clear to anyone reading the document.

It sounds similar to the ones i use for domestic as well. When i feed sub boards in flats and outbuildings etc i end up with the first Cert covering the first board with the schedule if inspections and test results, then the same again for each board that it feeds, so 5 flats would end up with 6 lots of paperwork, nice, not.
