A new emergency lighting circuit from a 3 phase board, must it be on a RCBO and if so will the associated lighting need to be on the same circuit, IE share the breaker, or if I take it from the light fitting will that be compliant also, I would rather it was on the same MCB as exists as I have had probs in the past with the emer battery charge packs tripping the RCD's and or RCBO's

There's no particular requiremnt for RCD protection.
If you will be installing cables concealed in walls, then they will require additional protection, an RCD is just one method.
It would be better and easier in my opinion, if the EM circuit was on the same breaker as the normal lights.

Hi spin yes there is new cables installed along the same route as the original lighting circuit, the easieast way is just in the same 6A breaker but as it is a new circuit must it have a RCd protection, this may well be part of my NICEIC assesment so I want to get it right
