Where about in London? I would use a 8 way board with price of work (parts included) starting from £280.00.

£325 plus tails, plus bonding, plus extras for fixing faults.

Plus you may need an isolator fitted too.

Those prices seem pretty reasonable. Id have thought it was much more for London. Id want an extra £100 just for having to drive on the M25.lol

It’s nice of you offering me the work but as I said £280 is only the starting price and I haven’t even looked at the condition of the existing cabling and installation. Sometimes one has to deal with gremlins during consumer unit changes and end up spending more time fixing the faults.

In fact Murdoch’s quote sounds realistic and further more I am booked for the next two weeks, hence wouldn’t be able to do it. Thanks for the offer, anyway.
