Guys,

client is just moving into place and ordered new cooker curries have said he needs a 6mm 32 amp. I have suggest i run in a 10mm and still rate it at 32amp just incase they decide to upgrade to a double cooker again when they refurb the kitchen to save then money. Also has anyone got any ideas on getting the cable behind the wall unit and also taking some tiles off so i don't damage them. Want to do a really good job on this as there could be quiet a bit of other work there later on.Also can someone tell me were to find the chart on what a major and whats a minor is saw it the other day in one of my books but can't find it now. Am i right in thinking this is a major so will have to go on a full cert or is it covered under a minor works cert

thanks

If you`re putting in a new cct - or even re-routing old one, or altering ccc or cct protection, will require an EIC. Pretty obvious i`d have thought...

As to Curry`s advising on what cable to install - thats scary, laughable, & beyond their brief (also illegal)

Any idea of the cooker`s rating Peter?

the guy does'nt know this is the first thing i asked but he needs a price asap wants it done on sat not sure to price for 16mm thinking about it. did also say to him that could'nt take note of curries when do they know anything
