GARS

Hi

We are installing new parking barriers on existing couloured SWA (RED YELLOW BLUE). Do we sleeve the cores to the new colours (BROWN GREEN/YELLOW BLUE) or leave them as the old colours. As they wil be the old colours in the DB.

Leave it and apply the warning notice "This installation has wiring to 2 versions of BS7671 blah blah blah" at the DB.

Cheers.........Howard

PS cant remember the exact wording on the sticker, but there is only one and there is a piccy in the BRB and OSG.

No, just do as above, the warning notice covers it all with comments like ensure cables are correctly identified before doing this and that. It is no different to a domestic install where blue and brown are joined to red and black.

Cheers.........Howard
