Hi, firstly like to say what an awsome forum this is for new people like myself. It's amazing the amount of work that the community has put into it.
now onto my question...
I've recently decided on a carrear change, I'm 27 and not really done much with myself, being stuck in dead end job after another. I'm currently a support worker and before that I was in the navy (med discharged after 4 years). I've had enough of my current job and have decided to get myself a trade. When I left the navy I did an aerial installation course which I enjoyed throughly but it was very difficult getting any work in that field for myself as littrally hundreds of people were applying for jobs with sky/virgin and I guess I didnt stand out from the crowd.. now onto my point (sorry for the rant) ...
I've decided to train and be electrician and after much research I realised how much of a task it is to become a credited one.. I've not let it phase me though and decided to go down the college route. Can anyone reccommend any colleges in the north that I should look at or give any advice for a new starter like myself because I littrally don't know where to start!?
