Hello,

Am about to price a new build house up and would like to know the way of getting power to the new house etc.

Who do i contact and what will the price be ?

phone your chosen supplier but sit down when you get the price

IMO leave that bit to the builder if he goes bust you dont get paid but you still have to pay DNO.

I agree with Chris.

Either take your own genny, or inform the builder/homeowner, they will need to organise it before work commences.

Im sure they would have as there will be other trades before you that will need juice.

I think he thinks you can tap off his supply from the house next door !

Contact his preferred choice of supplier or local DNO.

if hes thinking about"Tapping off " I wouldnt wanna be near the building if hes building it

If he has neary finished and no supply how did the other trades get on with no juice. Even sitting at my computer I can smell a rat with this one. He gets everyone to do all the work and paying nothing flogs the house nice tidy profit, lots of subbies going bankrupt cos he hasnt paid.
