Fitted a new light fitting for my daughter in her living room it was a BnQ jobby but the terminals were suprisinly good and plenty of room too . She only had 2 bulbs 40w candle ses so fitted these all seemed ok.
Got called back the day after to see 5 new leds fitted but buzzing like mad. as the lamps looked like the crap from poundland I removed them and tested them in another fitting all was good and quiet too.Rechecked everything all seemed fine but the 6A circuit breaker was buzzing too and another led lamp in a separate fitting in the kitchen was flashing???? all was ok when the living room light was turned off .
So checked the switch immediatly noticed it was 2 way asked where is other switch? behind curtains she replied and yes it was a dimmer swapped it and the problem has gone. Seems the drivers when under voltage can do funny things.

Dimmer, Driver, and Led must be compatible or all sorts of things an happen.
Also standard dimmers only start working if load is >40VA. Most LEDs are less than that.
So you may need to look at a low-watt led compatible dimmer. V-PRO are good.

That does help, it shows that the problem is almost certainly in the way it is connected and not a problem with the fittings.
