Hello everyone,
I would say that I am an enthusiastic and inexperienced amateur, when it comes to electrics. I am an ex aero engineer with the RAF. I am more experienced in mechanical engineering but have always been facinated with electrics too. After 33 years in the air force I am at a bit of a loose end for a few months and am looking to improve my skills and knowledge in this field.
So far I have a C&G 17th edition cert, a C&G level 3 inspection and testing cert and an EAL domestic installers cert. I am looking to register with a part P scheme in the near future. I have heard good things on this forum about ELECSA. I hope to develop more experience in domestic installing by doing jobs in my own house for the time being, then move on to other jobs when I have more experience.
Clearly I need all the help I can get.
Thanks in advance for any future assistance.
