Hi everyone.
I was made redundant last month and I am now going on my own, I'm on a business course at the moment doing my business plan etc.
Any good insurance company's to recommend ? Which company should I register with NICEIC or NAPIT or is there anyone else ?
I have my NVQ 2, 3, 17th Edition & Part P Certificates & 6 years experience.
Do I need a JIB card ?

Have a search for best insurance company (detailing the type you need) on the forum.

Self certification schemes are a practical necessity if you are doing electrical installation work in domestic properties that is notifiable to building control, the alternative is to work with building control for a fee (normally prohibitive)

A JIB card would be required for working on sites and may well be required in many commercial settings.
