I've got to install a new shower circuit to a property on monday. Now once installed do i need to test just that circuit and RCD's etc and record the results on a completion cert or do i have to test all the other circuits aswell?

you only test what you install. plus the earthing and bonding, of course, Ze,PFC. and if the client wants other circuits of the installation testing, then it's up to you to negotiate a price for that.

Why would you want to test anyone elses work unless you are changing the characteristics?

Just test your circuit beats and make sure the earthing is correct, if not upgrade it.

The only reason why i asked is i'm use to only changing ccu's/upgrades so test the whole property

Before starting work check out the bonding to the water, you may get some extra work, just test what you install and ensure the earthing is up to scratch, what size shower are you wiring up out of interest?
