New system advice

I've been getting a couple of quotes from local companies and am looking for a bit of advice in terms of product quality and value for money.

Company A has quoted me:
16*250W Sharp Panels + SMA Sunnyboy inverter - £11,600
16*250W LG Panels + SMA Sunnyboy inverter - £11,225
16*250W Hyundai Panels + SMA Sunnyboy inverter - £11,015

Company B has quoted me

16*250W Caymax panels + Eversolar 3600 Inverter - £10,300

Both quotes come with 20 year warrnaty on the inverter. Its optional with Company B though so I think £500 can be knocked off that quote.

On paper there doesnt seem to be a huge amount of difference between the panels but is there anything to watch out for? Obviosuly on price the second quote is better but are the products offered of good quality?

The emphasis at the moment is probably more on getting a system installed, commissioned and the FiT paperwork sent off (registered post) before Friday, 9 Dec.

Perhaps check that each company can actually supply the above systems and can give you a definite install date as soon as possible (I couldn't get LG 250 panels yesterday, so settled for Samsung 247W) .

From the quotes I have had, and given the current climate, your quotes are competitive enough, in my opinion.

take the one that can fit first!! i think you will be lucky before the FITs change
