Hello all,
I found your discussion forum because I am very interested in LED usage in warehouses, obstruction lighting and hazardous environments (ATEX). So, there seem to be a lot of electricians out there asking about LED lights - whether they're any good, how to fit them, what light they generate - oh, and 'how much'. Well, we're a company selling BRITISH MADE LED lights. Let me say that again - they are NOT made in China, they're made here - we put a 5 years guarantee (that they won't dim to less than 80% in that time - not that they will not fail (LED's don't fail like that)) We're a British company who have been manufacturing LED's for over 30 years. Mostly we provide lighting for airports, traffic lights and obstruction lights. Now though we also provide lights for ATEX 1/2 & 21/22 and High bay / low bay/ bulkhead lights / area lights / car-park lights (most of which we also do in ATEX versions). All of these are guaranteed for 5 years, will save around 66% of your energy - and (if you're working a refrigerated environment) will save you much more - as LED's generate very little heat.
So, I'll be here answering questions if anyone's asking about LED's.
