Hi everyone I am new to the forum and interested in how electricians market their businesses. I am an electrical engineer by education and profession and I also enjoy internet marketing, affiliate marketing and that sort of thing. I have recently realised there is a big opportunity to help small independent businesses get their internet marketing right and so I set up a directory for my local area in Somerset.
My question to you all is, how do you get new clients? What's working for you and what's not? The biggest challenge I have identified for self employed business people is that they just don't have the time to promote their business (correct me if this observation is not true in general) because they are out in the field doing "work" for their clients. How do you reconcile this demand on your time? Your need to get the next job lined up while satisfying the current job you are on right now?
