Hi there,
I'm a heating engineer so any electrical terms would be best not used with me.
This is in my own home.
I have just replaced a REDRING eco 7 time controller with Newlecs version as the whole component stopped working.
The wiring was basically the same.
Put the fuse back in..Nothing.
Realised that it was the switched fused spur outlet which was at fault.
Bought a new one from screwfix yesterday, fitted it and bingo..
I read that the clock won't start keeping time until 15 minutes of power being on.
So I tested the Boost Control which worked fine.
Came back to it the next morning but the clock hadn't moved.
The clock manually turns as I had to set it to the correct time..
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks.
