hi all,

ive got my assesment coming up and registering to become domestic installer.

what i would like to know is what do i need to do to be able to issue periodic inspection reports. is it something the assessor will decide on there and then?

I believe NIC run a separate assessment for Periodics but as far as I understand the "rules" you dont need to be in a scheme to do periodics but insurance companies tend to insist on it.

i know, but like you said ins companies insist on an nic periodic report

so when he comes down and assses me for that i will have to get him to come down again for a periodic?

no you cant do periodic reports under the nic banner if you are just a part p person. i believe you need c and g 2391, you will also have to apply separately and have another assessment.
