Hi guys,

This is my first post so here goes....
I recently passed my NICEIC Qualified Supervisor assessment for my company and was wondering where this leaves me on pay & signing of my own private work?

Thanks,

Paul

Commercial/Industrial you can sign and issue certificates as they will not need notification as per Part P

Domestic if your company do domestic work then it is the company that will be registered with a scheme such as ELECSA or NAPIT. If you a QS with a NICEIC approved contractor, then they get Part P as part of the approved scheme.

This means you can sign of work for the company as the company will notify the scheme. As for private work well you will either have to register yourself with a scheme, or have a very understanding boss who will do it for you
