hi all

i know in complyence with part p if im doing electrical work on ahouse i have to tell the local building control, but out of experience is the niceic assesor leniate if i havent ? or is it an instant fail ?
(im guessing fail but thought id see what u all say)

thanks !

You do have 28 days fom signing a job off to notify.
If you time it right it won't cost the labc charges.
Also, if other works been carried out, their cost automatically covers yours, although building control will try it on.

I've heard of a few scenarios where the assessor has asked to see the LABC notice and when one could not be produced it resulted in a failure. It's best to just pay up, and get it over with.;)
