NICEIC Certification Scheme Niceic second inspection

Discuss Niceic second inspection in the Certification NICEIC, NAPIT, Stroma, BECSA Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

While I understand your concern and want to find out what it involves. Is it really that difficult to pick the phone up and actually speak to someone at NIC?

a hoover with a PAT sticker on it, and no mirrors strategically placed under the typists' desks.

Right here goes
regs book,
on site guide,
electricity at works act,
complaints procedure (just have a folder with complaints procedure written on it and tell him you've had none),
health and safety procedure (down load from Internet),
copy of part p (down load from Internet),
public liability insurance cert,
access to all your test certs,
copies of the certs for the two jobs your going to,
calibration cert,
check box and cert for you on testing (they don't seem too bothered about that now)
Im pretty sure that's it, if you haven't got any of the items he will tell you you've got 30 days to get them and prove it to the Nic which means buying it from them.

Dont worry bout it as its your first inspection as a member and he will tell you exactly what hey expected.
also don't worry when they pick up on something as they always do and it won't be the same thing next year.

Good luck with it but is nothing to worry about.
