I went to replace a bathroom light and found that there is no main bonding to the water supply and no supp bonding in the bathroom.
The existing circuit is on a rewirable fuse. Can I installed main and supp bonding and replace the light or will the whole circuit need upgrading?

If it is like for like then IMO if you install main and supp bonding then there is no problem. Although you might want to discuss an upgrade with the customer.

you are not altering anything so i would strongly advise the upgrade, but chances are they will refuse it
