No Earth Wire In Plug

Hi all,

Had a problem with my mini angle grinder that cut out during use. Opened up the plug to take the fuse out and check it in the kettle and was surprised to see there's no earth wire in the cable. Is this normal?

P.S Fuse was blown - can't understand why though.

if its a class 2 appliance yes .there should be a double box symbol on the appliance
