Noisy Dimmers

I just changed 2 old dimmers in my mates house for new MK ones..

One was alot noisier than the other, but even the quiet one was giving off quite a buzz.. not too bad once put back in the wall though.

I haven't done many of these before, but do they all buzz like that?

If so, what are the best ones?

All the new dimmers are electronic, whereas the old ones were just variable resistors, have seen on here a few times about the cheaper ones causing buzzing.

What rating is the dimmer??? and how big is the load???

I'm not actually sure of the rating of the dimmer.. I shall find out, but 500w springs to mind.

As for the load, it's a 3 lamp pendant so 300w max I guess.

I thought MK would be a good bet
