He actually uses an insulated screwdriver when he terminates the cables in the back of the socket inside the garage

I used to have a bunch of those until some fella called Tel kept buying them off me

A house I was at recently:
(+1 for the mother of all drip loops ? )

Then it was plugged in inside a lean-to:
-non rcd protected socket
-socket is a spur off a spur off a spur (with washing machine and tumble on the middle one)
-no earth sleeving inside
-no grommet and only single insulated ends poking through
-socket hanging off wall when I discovered it as pictured. ("If you do the screws up it trips, so I leave it like that")
-flex damaged

Apart from that it's fine. "Last guy never said anything!"
