Not many people logged on tonight???

Its 22:50 Friday night and only 47 members are logged on! Wow, this time last year there would have been about 600-700 people veiwing and posting. Is there something good on the telly that I,m missing or are people just getting bored?

it is a surprise to me too,as theres around 200 new members a day for the past few days it should be busy..very busy,im not saying these new members dont exsist of course and there not some figment of imagination

Obviously last night may have just been an anomaly and normal serviced as been resumed.

Or it may be a case of what we have been seeing, though perhaps just to a lower extent, over the last few days, where social media sites now seem to be a poisonous breeding ground for a certain sections of society who seem to think that hidden behind a key board they are excused of courtesy and for want of a better word manners.

I posted before on here that sometimes when a question is asked on a thread there is literally a feeding frenzy to destroy the poster and belittle them. I have always tried to be polite and helpful, I can never see what advantages you can gain for trying to be smart and belittle a person, perhaps the closest we get to this in life is the school bully.

I Have said also that many older and very knowledgeable posters have now left the forum in frustration of many things. Perhaps the poor viewing yesterday is that a general poster is also getting fed up of it.
