Hi guys,

I am qualified with BS 2391 and all, but I am not registered for Part P with NAPIT or NICEIC or similar.

When I am doing some work in costumers houses what am I supposed to do. For example install a new DB with all the circuits around the house. I write out the Electrical Installation Certificate and test results. Do I need to do something else as well?

Thanks!

BS 2391....... never heard of it!! You MEAN C&G 2931

Yes you need to also Inform Building control that you did work if your not registered...!!

sorry if im sounding like a **** but your use of works and distinct lack of knowledge in regards to certifictes , rules, and procedures worried me very much!!!

for got to mention that when you write the certificates you need to ACTUALLY test the circuits and your work!
