Guys..

Got my own take on this.. however just wanted to run it past the others

Work is in a bathroom
Flood damaged..

As a result, refit of the bathroom required.

Work involved:
Dosconnect and then reconnect shower supply using existing supply (shower will be moved a few feet, and does not need any new cable)
Fit replacement light fittings. (ceiling being replaced, new lights chosen, no new cable)

I know it falls into that grey area about replacement for damage. Because the items being worked on werent directly damaged.. but nonetheless is a direct result of the flood.

yeah thats pretty much my take on it too
Im going to do a PIR anyway on all the circuits as part of the work. I cant guarantee that any single circuit has been effected or not. So for my own peace of mind I want to know its all ok.
No flippin previous paperwork tho to compare readings on..!!

Yes but Part P doesnt necessarily mention things being like for like..

From the additional notes section Part P:
b. Replacement, repair and maintenance jobs are generally not notifiable, even if carried out in a kitchen or special location or associated with a special installation.

m. The fitting and replacement of cookers and electric showers is not notifiable unless a new circuit is needed
