notifiable work - garage

Hi, is adding a spur to a detatched garage that already has a supply notifiable work or is it minor work?

It is just a minor works cert, but remember some minor works you do are also notifiable

can you give me some examples of what minor works are notifiable as at the moment I am only allowed to do minor works until I pass my next exams and I don't want to do any that get me in trouble.

Any additions or alterations in a special location, bathrooms, kitchens, outside..

For example fitting an extractor fan in a bathroom, lighting in garden or adding low level sockets in a kitchen for appliances, these will need notifying

there is a leaflet listing all notifiable works i think its available from elecsa you should be able to down load it from the public area
