I have heard that VQ Training are offering the NVQ 2356 for £85.00 per month (for six months) to new applicants. This does not appear to be a bad deal considering that you could pretty much wrap up your NVQ before you have even paid for it. This seems even more attractive when you consider what some of the other training providers are charging.

Hope to hear from cobbydale to verify this.

Also, just heard that 2330 is now being extended to April 2011. No news on the 2356 yet, so at the moment this NVQ qualification is still ending in December 2010.

City & Guilds are still not confirming anything with the regard to the new 2357, so as it stands the end date for the 2356 is still 31st of December.
VQtraining are offering the monthly payment scheme which makes it easier on anyones wallet wanting to complete the 2356 NVQ. VQ Training - Home

If Guilds do extend the dead line for the 2356 it will be April next year maximum in my opinion as the 2357 money making system will need to be in place to line the pockets of awarding bodies.
Again my opinion is sign up before the deadline!!!

Yeah heard about this, sounds a good option instead of forking out £600+ in one go.
Say that you can wrap up your NVQ before even finishing payment but will need to clear your balance to get your certificates!!

Yeah, dont think they will give you a job and knock for this one.

Still, as you say, at least it beats forking out all the cash in one go..
