Hi all
i needed bit of advice.i am maintenance electrician for a housing association.i did my 2330 level 2 and 3 in 2008.i got my 2391 in 2010.i wanted to get NVQ level 3 qualification.i don't want to go back to college again.is it worth doing with online training centres.any help appreciated.thanks in advance

im not sure if you will be able to get on the course, i think the last registration was 2012 so you would not have long to complete it.

they are phasing it out in favor of the 2357, you will need to go and do a environmental unit (easy unit, rock up on the day with no studying needed)

then its the same as the 2356.

its a joke really, what does pv stand for, what colour pipes for grey water etc

all multiple choice (they will use your 2330 and get you to do the bridging exam)

you need to be employed for the 2357, it would be best talking to a college or who you are going to do it with because they will come out to site to assess you.

your doing the same route i took, i finished my 2330 level 3, in 2011 and going to do my am2 early next year (apparently)

The NVQ 2356 was relaunched by City & Guilds and JIB in April 2014 as the NVQ 2356-99 and this is a restricted qualification aimed at mature candidates. To enrol on the NVQ 2356-99 you need to have over five years experience within the industry and relevant technical qualifications.

The experience and qualifications you mention mean that you are eligible for the 2356-99 and XS Training are amongst a number of training providers offering this route. In order to successfully achieve the full qualification you will also need to complete the AM2 as the AM2 is now embedded within the NVQ 2356-99.
