has anybody done their nvq with delta training, im looking at starting it. i am just finishing level 3 2330 and have done 17th regs,2391 inspection and testing

it doesn't work like that mate, you complete the nvq online and send it to your assessor. you have to write up 3 jobs if you take the fast-track route as opposed to 2 and a site visit if you take the college route.

oh, i've been doing it for just over a month now and they have been very helpful, only a phone call away if you have any questions whilst working on it. and it may seem pretty daunting at first but it's actually very easy once you get the hang of it.

yep they have been good, started about 5 weeks ago. Once you get your head around how to write the jobs up its just lots of writing and getting good evidence. The guy who checks my write ups, log books and evidence gets back to me day after I email it mail it in. They send you out a sample log book. Its er.. very basic some of it. eg. prove you can use a ladder safely. solution, photo of you on ladder and a photo of the ladder instructions, sorted! Start collecting evidence of your work now. eg take photos of yourself working, collect job sheets, instruction from items you install, delivery notes, requisition sheets. Anything like that. They say its possible to do it in 10 weeks depending on the kind of work you do. If your just house bashing then you'll have trouble covering all the sections. But delta have been good
