Hi hi just looking for some advice I've just completed my nvq level 3 diploma in engineering electrical maintenance silly question but does that make me a maintenance electrician ?? And what can people recommend and me do do to further my career in electrical cheers

Apply to the trainees section, you might find useful stuff and things in there.

I completed the EAL NVQ level 2 & 3 in Electrical Engineering Maintenance. I also completed the BTEC Level 3 in Engineering alongside it to make up the ‘Advanced Level Apprenticeship’.

Upon completion I was classed as a Maintenance Electrician.

I then went on to achieve 17th Edition, City & Guilds 2394 & 2395

As a stand alone qualification with the NVQ3 I’m not so sure. If you have gone the City & Guilds route I think you are required to achieve the AM2?
