I was just wondering if i need to be associated with a compertant persons scheme to have my part P? I already work for a large electrical company so having someone come out and inspect my work is going to be pretty difficult. Any ideas how I can do this would be appreciated.

I would suggest doing a cuple of job's for friends , as you say your working for an elec con I assume your qualified.
contact nappit or Nic ( niceic.org ) for further details / requirements
